The Warehouse Associate II will monitor the receiving, storage, deliveries, inventory, and distribution of shipments. The Warehouse Associate will ensure efficiency and consistency operations of the warehouse, guaranteeing inventory is managed and distributed to proper departments as needed. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for efficiently carrying out all duties in the warehouse including, but not limited to picking, packing, shipping and receiving, inventory assessment, in-house quality control, logistics. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor, with a dotted-line reporting structure to Retail Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with identifying discrepancies and performing research using data from warehouse orders/shipments and contact the appropriate departments for any counts needed to resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure daily and equipment audits are completed and report inconsistencies to management immediately.
  • Ensure the safe transit of materials and the proper use of equipment at all times, reporting any safety concerns
  • Assist management with start-of-shift meetings to set priority of tasks, identifying and directing them to completion, and reporting any issues to management during end of shift recap
  • Assist management with processing retail shipments into inventory. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing the counting, quality check, and tagging of the product, invoicing into the appropriate system, and reporting discrepancies to retail management.
  • Report, research, and reconcile discrepancies with management including but not limited to receiving shipments, retail transfers, and retail orders
  • Facilitate the completion of tasks/orders in a timely manner, keeping the team productive and on track at all times and reporting any deviations to management during end of shift discussions
  • Be proactive and present in company cross-departmental communication including but not limited to Teams and emails
  • Support inventory control by performing regular cycle counts and full physical inventories, both independently and with other departments, while identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damages or defects, process damages and assist with outbound retail shipments.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving operations for all AREA15 deliveries, including parcels, signage, inventory, equipment, and decor.
  • Communicate with relevant departments or vendors to address shipment shortages and other problems.
  • Ensure all audits are completed and submitted in a timely manner, with accurate notations added, and report any necessary issues to management.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to Warehouse operations. This includes, but not limited to, updating statuses on the Monday Board, proper notation on Warehouse Request Tickets, purchase order invoicing, departmental transfers, and responding to emails/Teams messages
  • Ensure all warehouse requests (tickets, YD requests, etc.) are addressed, actioned, and completed in a timely manner
  • Work with management to identify and action necessary team adjustments based on daily workload.
  • Identify consolidation opportunities throughout the warehouse, working with management on execution of agreed upon solutions
  • Conduct opening and closing safety audit walks of indoor and outdoor spaces reporting any safety concerns and inconsistencies to management
  • Ensure proper order picking and safety procedures are followed, executing real time research and resolution on any discrepancies/inconsistencies as needed
  • Provide end-of-shift recaps to management
  • Ensure the safe unloading of all materials, ensuring materials are staged for audit, and actively assist in resolving discrepancies.
  • Efficiently store materials to conserve space and comply with safety procedures as set forth by AREA15, including updating staging area board on active/incoming orders to be worked on
  • Assist management with the training of new employees, writing and execution of SOPs in the warehouse, and reporting coaching opportunities for management follow up
  • Maintain legible and accurate logs and records and ensure paperwork is properly filed away
  • Protect all company assets in the warehouse, including non-stock merchandise.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment. Ensure processed orders are properly stored in their designated location once completed and are accurately tagged as needed.
  • Assist with identifying slow and dead stock items and collaborate with team to address
  • Work with departments on the transportation of product into requested spaces. This includes, but is not limited to, F&B supplies, retail product, event merch, and employee supplies
  • Utilize proper lifting techniques and adhere to all safety guidelines.
  • Partner with operations, events, production, and retail team leaders to ensure facility needs are met.
  • Proactively promote positive working relationships with all employees and external guests, effectively communicating company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Demonstrate ART! (AREA15's service standards) in every guest interaction.
  • Adhere to department and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a professional, polished appearance in line with AREA15 standards.
  • Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
